1. Acceptance Of Terms
By visiting jenkiesjoint.com, ordering from our café, using the Art Wash laundromat, or booking our catering services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don’t agree, please don’t use our services. We know that sounds firm — the Terms exist mostly to be clear, not restrictive.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, customers, and event hosts. You must be at least 13 years old to submit information through our website.
2. Description Of Services
Jenkies Joint provides:
- Café dining and takeaway (coffee, food, bakery)
- Catering (mobile coffee bar, boxed meals, event food)
- Retail (packaged coffee beans, merchandise, gift cards)
- The Art Wash laundromat (self-service and wash-dry-fold)
- Community events (art openings, tastings, workshops)
- This website and any content published on it
3. Use Of The Website
You agree to use the site lawfully and respectfully. That means no:
- Attempting to hack, scrape, disrupt, or reverse-engineer any part of the site
- Using automated tools (bots, spiders) to access the site without our written permission
- Uploading malicious code or content that violates any law
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Interfering with other users’ enjoyment of the site
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you’ve violated these rules.
4. Orders & Payments
4.1 In-store orders
Prices posted at the register are current. Menu items may be sold out at any time. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe to staff or other customers.
4.2 Online / call-ahead orders
Call-ahead orders are confirmed when you receive verbal or written confirmation from a staff member. Please pick up within 30 minutes of the confirmed ready time; unclaimed orders may be given away.
4.3 Payment
We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Jenkies Joint gift cards. Payments are processed through Square. All transactions are in U.S. dollars.
4.4 Refunds
If something’s not right with your order, tell us right away and we’ll fix it — remake, replace, or refund, your call. For catering deposits, see section 5.
5. Catering & Events
5.1 Booking
Catering bookings require a signed contract and a 25% deposit to secure your date. The deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days of the event.
5.2 Final counts
Final guest counts and menu selections are due 7 days before the event. Additions after this deadline are subject to a rush fee and availability.
5.3 Delivery zone
We deliver within 40 miles of Orbisonia, PA. Delivery beyond this range is available for larger events with additional travel fees.
5.4 Cancellations
Cancellations more than 14 days out receive a full refund (minus deposit). Between 14 and 7 days, the deposit is forfeited. Within 7 days, 50% of the total balance is due. Force majeure events (severe weather, government emergencies) will be handled case-by-case.
6. Art Wash Laundromat
6.1 Machine use
Please follow posted instructions. Overloading machines, using unauthorized detergents, or attempting to wash items marked "dry clean only" may damage the machine and void any refund.
6.2 Lost items
Items left in machines or on premises for more than 30 days will be donated to a local charity. Jenkies Joint is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. We recommend not leaving your laundry unattended.
6.3 Wash-dry-fold
Drop-off orders must be paid at drop-off. Please inspect your laundry within 24 hours of pick-up; claims after 24 hours cannot be honored.
6.4 Art & murals
Please do not touch, deface, or attempt to remove the mural or featured artwork. Photography is welcome and encouraged; commercial photography requires prior written permission.
7. Gift Cards
Jenkies Joint gift cards:
- Are redeemable only at our physical location for goods and services
- Do not expire and carry no service fees (as required under PA law)
- Are not redeemable for cash, except where required by state law
- Cannot be reloaded but can be combined with other gift cards
- Are treated as bearer instruments — if lost or stolen, we cannot replace them
8. User-Generated Content
Feedback, comments, or suggestions you send us become non-confidential. By submitting content, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it for improving our services and (with attribution) for promotional purposes. We will not publish your name, email, or full message without your consent.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — text, photos, illustrations, logos, the mural, and menu recipes — is owned by Jenkies Joint or licensed to us. You may share individual pages on social media with attribution, and print recipes for personal use. Commercial use, republication, or reproduction requires our written permission.
The "Jenkies Joint" name, logo, and mural design are trademarks of Jenkies Joint LLC.
10. Disclaimers & Warranties
Our services are provided "as is." While we take care to be accurate, we make no warranties that our menu, prices, hours, or availability will always be current or error-free. Menu items may contain or come into contact with allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, egg, shellfish). Please tell us about severe allergies when ordering.
The Art Wash is not a substitute for professional dry cleaning; we cannot guarantee results on delicate or specialty items.
11. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Pennsylvania law, Jenkies Joint LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jenkies Joint from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania — although we’ll try to resolve things informally and directly first.
14. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "last updated" date and, when possible, announced on our newsletter. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
